It all started in 2023 with an idea—a vision to bring people together through food. By May 2024, that idea became a reality when we launched our first poutine tour, celebrating Canada’s national dish in a way that had never been done before in Ottawa. But our passion didn’t stop there. In January 2024, we took a bold step forward by reviewing food based on cuisine rather than location—a first in the local food community. This shift allowed us to highlight authentic culinary experiences and bring well-deserved attention to the people behind the flavours.

 

At the heart of Ottawa’s Most Unique is Trevor Young, a seasoned foodie and engaging storyteller. With real-world experience and an innate ability to describe food in a way that transports you to the plate, Trevor ensures that every tour, review, and experience is immersive and unforgettable. His love for food extends beyond Ottawa—Trevor’s Travels, an upcoming YouTube series, will take audiences on a journey around the world to discover and savor local cuisines firsthand.
